How to Play Frogger
Quick start
Press START to open player selection, choose one player with up/down or SELECT and press START again. Watch the first traffic lane before hopping into a gap. At the central strip, check for snakes while planning your route across the river. Reach an unoccupied home bay before the timer runs out.
Controls
Each D-pad direction makes one hop in that direction. START pauses or resumes during play. On player selection, up/down or SELECT chooses one or two players and START confirms. In a two-player game, the next player presses START when the Get Ready screen appears after a frog is lost.
Frogger — About this game
The road demands gaps between cars and trucks; the river demands moving platforms, because landing in open water costs a frog. Reach an unoccupied bay before the timer expires, then begin another crossing until all five homes are filled. Remaining time adds to your score, while flies and a rescued companion frog offer additional rewards. The two-player option uses alternating turns on the same handheld. Watching platform edges, turtle dives and the changing entrances to the bays matters as much as moving quickly.
