How to Play Front Line

Quick start

Select 1-person or 2-person mode with SELECT, and start with START. Use the D-pad to move in 8 directions and decide the shooting direction, press B to shoot the pistol, and press A to throw the grenade. If you approach a blue armored car/tank and press A, you can board it, and while riding, B becomes the machine gun or main gun.

Controls

D-pad: Movement of the sergeant in 8 directions, firing direction of each weapon. A: Grenade, getting into and out of a blue tank/armored vehicle. B: Pistol on foot, machine gun on armored vehicles, main gun on tanks. SELECT: 1-player/2-player selection before starting (disabled during play). START: Proceed from the demo to the selection screen and start the selected game. There is no pause function in this work.

Front Line — About this game

The Famicom version of ``Frontline'' is a vertical scrolling action game in which you advance your sergeant toward enemy lines at the top of the screen. Use pistols and grenades in the infantry zone, and fight enemy vehicles in blue armored cars and tanks in the grasslands. Pistols can't destroy tanks, and the final enemy camp can only be destroyed with grenades, so you'll need to use your weapons wisely. If a vehicle is hit by a bullet and starts smoking, only the sergeant may be saved if he gets off at A before it explodes.
