Quick start
Begin Story Mode and learn movement, jumping and attacks in the first area. Inspect the alchemy submenu, try an appropriate spell and follow the next stage objective.
Controls
Use the directional pad to move and the configured attack/jump buttons. Touch the alchemy symbol to choose a technique, then the offensive or defensive icon to use it; START pauses.

Fullmetal Alchemist: Dual Sympathy combines moving, jumping and close attacks with alchemy selected below the action. Start Story Mode, learn the attack and jump layout and use the touch icons for offensive or defensive transmutation when the situation calls for it. A wall can buy space while you recover your position; charging straight into another group can waste that advantage. Short touch challenges interrupt the fighting, so read their new goal. Clear the story before expecting the additional character options to be available.
