Press START on the title screen to start a new single player game and proceed to CHAPTER 1 "Down the Rabbit Hole". The first goal is to earn 30 points and reach the goal. Save the small golden keys to open doors and shortcuts, and the maximum number of wonder cards in your hand is 5, so using cards that increase the number of moves or cards that turn residents face up will make your exploration easier.

Use the cross button to select menu items, directions on the map, cards and targets. Press the A button to make a decision, forward a conversation, flip the next panel, or use an item or wonder card, and press the B button to cancel or return to the previous screen. START starts the game from the title and opens a menu for checking progress while playing. During battles, you basically select a target with the cross button, confirm with A, and process the face down panel, event, and locked door in order.
