Quick start
Open an available tale in the Rumour Library, read its Japanese dialogue and choose a response at the first decision. Finish the outcome before replaying another choice. Try one DS minigame after reading its separate goal.
Controls
Advance story text and touch a displayed choice to decide the next response. In minigames, tap the emerging target, turn matching pairs or follow the shuffled phone booths according to the selected rule. Check which mode you opened before repeating a gesture.

Minna no Hanako-san presents short tales in a Rumour Library, with displayed decisions leading each story toward different endings. Read the current situation and choose deliberately, then revisit a tale to see what another response changes. Three DS minigames add direct touch challenges: tap creatures appearing in shoe lockers, reveal matching picture pairs or track Hanako among shuffled phone booths. Each activity uses a different kind of attention. Begin with a single tale or an easier matching round and learn its rule before changing modes. Begin with the opening tutorial and practice the main interaction before pursuing optional rewards. Read the current objective, make one deliberate choice and watch its effect before repeating it. A short first session makes it easier to separate a missed instruction from a difficult challenge. Return to the available menu when you need to check progress or adjust your approach, then continue from the next clear objective.
