How to Play Galileo
Quick start
Begin the first case as Kaoru Utsumi and read the witness conversation. Touch the scene to inspect a clear piece of evidence, follow the next investigation instruction and try Yukawa's first experiment task when it becomes available.
Controls
Use the DS stylus to inspect scene details and select the available conversation or investigation choice. Experiments use their own touch actions, so read the displayed aim and perform one step at a time. Advance the Japanese text and check the current case objective before moving on.
Galileo — About this game
Galileo adapts five cases from the Japanese television mystery as a DS investigation. Play detective Kaoru Utsumi, question the people involved and search a scene for evidence that can make an apparently impossible event understandable. Physicist Manabu Yukawa contributes deductions and experiments, with stylus tasks letting you help test the case's explanation. Read the Japanese dialogue for the next lead and compare a new finding with the witness account. Begin with the first case's investigation steps instead of trying to solve every scene by random tapping. Begin with the opening tutorial and practice the main interaction before pursuing optional rewards. Read the current objective, make one deliberate choice and watch its effect before repeating it. A short first session makes it easier to separate a missed instruction from a difficult challenge. Return to the available menu when you need to check progress or adjust your approach, then continue from the next clear objective.
