How to Play Ganbare Goemon Gaiden 2: Tenka no Zaihou
Quick start
Select "Start", enter your name, and then talk to everyone in town to confirm your destination. At the armor shop, give priority to the attackers in the front row when updating their equipment, and place the healers in the back row. On the map, use the cross button to move, press A to open the menu, and use ``Discussion'' and ``Search''. Earn experience points and ryo by fighting small fry moderately, and use "Jido" only against safe opponents. When you go out to the field, use "Kiroku" in the menu to leave a mark and replenish your recovery tools before entering the cave, making it easier to prevent annihilation.
Controls
Cross button: Character movement, menu and character selection. A button: Open command on map, conversation, investigation, decision, send message. B button: Cancel, return from store or menu. SELECT or arrow pad up/down: Select "Start/Continue" in the title. START or A: Determine title item. In battle, use the cross button to select your action and target, press A to confirm, and press B to go back one step.

"Ganbare Goemon Gaiden 2 Tenka no Treasure" is the second Gaiden work that depicts the world of the series as a command-type RPG. Goemon and Ebisumaru become friends with the mysterious boy Koryuta and others, and travel from Japan to overseas in search of eight keys that lead to the world's treasures. Inquire and shop in town, and fight randomly appearing enemies in fields and dungeons. In battle, you can choose normal attacks, techniques, tools, defense, etc., and divide the roles between the front and back rows. "Jido" can advance quickly in small fry battles, but since it does not use techniques or tools, it is safe to return to manual mode against strong enemies and prioritize equipment updates and recovery.
