Quick start

Controls

The DS Goemon begins with an unexplained wanted poster and sends the familiar companions onto a comic Tokaido journey. Explore towns and routes, talk to people and use the available characters' abilities to get past enemies or obstacles. Touch-screen mechanisms interrupt the travel, while Goemon Impact encounters and minigames change the style of action. Check the current clue before revisiting a blocked path and read a special activity's prompt when it appears. The ukiyo-e-inspired setting connects the investigation and action rather than a sequence of unrelated arcade rounds. Begin with the opening tutorial and practice the main interaction before pursuing optional rewards. Read the current objective, make one deliberate choice and watch its effect before repeating it. A short first session makes it easier to separate a missed instruction from a difficult challenge.
