How to Play Ganso Saiyuuki Super Monkey Daibouken
Quick start
Immediately after the start, use the cross button to walk around the field and investigate nearby houses and caves. Just moving around will make your days and nights go by, and your food and water supplies will decrease, so don't go back and forth to the same location and take note of your supply points and warp destinations. When you encounter an enemy, attack with A's Nyoibō and jump over with B. If you press B again during battle, you can ride the Shintoun, which you can use against airborne enemies. START's dragon transformation is a trump card that only Goku can use. Be sure to write down the restart command displayed in private houses, and use it from the title screen when you are wiped out.
Controls
Cross button: Movement in the field and during battle. A button: Nyoibō attack during battle, return to the field after battle or from a private house. B Button: Jump during battle, press again to ride the Sukintoun. START: Transforms/cancels Goku into a dragon during battle. SELECT: Pause.

"Original Journey to the West: Super Monkey Adventure" is an action RPG in which you lead Son Goku, Sanzang Hoshi, Ino Hakkai, and Sha Wujing's party as they aim for Tenjiku. There are few guides in the field to guide you to your destination, so you navigate the continent looking for paths that open in caves, invisible warps, and time zones. The more time you walk, the more food and water you consume, and when your supplies run out, you will also lose your stamina, so it is essential to find private houses and obtain information and supplies. When you encounter an enemy, the battle moves to the horizontal screen, and you defeat the monster using Goku's Nyoi-bo, jump, Suitoun, and transformation into a dragon. The core of the strategy is the exploration itself, which involves creating a map and memorizing supply points and safe routes.
