How to Play Alphamax
Quick start
When the battle begins, practise moving with the D-pad while firing with B. Keep room to change direction and work through the four enemies in the wave. After a power or speed increase, take a moment to adjust your movement before pressing ahead.
Controls
D-pad: move the ship. B: shoot. Keep moving and firing to deal with successive waves of enemies.
Alphamax — About this game
Move your ship with the D-pad and fire with B while dealing with each randomly assembled wave of four enemies. Every new wave increases the pressure, but your own ship receives more power or speed after every few waves. Leave yourself room to move instead of chasing one enemy into a cramped position, and adjust your timing when the ship speeds up. Made by fb1 for GBJAM 5, Alphamax focuses on keeping control as one increasingly demanding wave gives way to the next.
