How to Play Aretha II
Quick start
Begin in Haroharo and approach Floyd to receive starting money and a capsule. Open SELECT to inspect equipment and save, then visit the Puki gate to advance the opening events. In battle watch Materia’s HP before casting magic, and repair broken equipment rather than leaving it unusable.
Controls
D-pad: move on the map and choose commands. Approach a character to talk. A: confirm; B: cancel or return one command screen. SELECT: open/close the menu for status, equipment, items, settings and save/load.

Materia follows the revived Doll into a new journey across towns, fortresses and trapped dungeons. Command battles demand care because magic consumes HP, and losing Materia ends the adventure even if others remain. Equipment can break and needs repair, while a monster defeated by Fireball can leave a crystal for a capsule and a one-battle ally.
