How to Play Avenging Spirit
Quick start
Begin the game and move the ghost directly over an enemy, then press A or B to possess it. Test the host’s jump and attack before advancing. Leave a body only when another useful host is within reach.
Controls
Ghost: D-pad moves, A or B possesses a character directly beneath. Host: left/right move, Up/Down climb, A jumps, B attacks, SELECT leaves the body. START pauses.

A murdered young man returns as a ghost to rescue his kidnapped girlfriend. He survives by possessing enemies, borrowing each host’s attacks and movement to cross six stages. Spirit energy drains while he is outside a body, so changing hosts is a tactical choice with a time cost. A suitable body can open a route that another cannot manage, turning enemy selection into part of exploration. Begin the game and move the ghost directly over an enemy, then press A or B to possess it. Test the host’s jump and attack before advancing. Leave a body only when another useful host is within reach.
