How to Play Ayakashi no Shiro
Quick start
Choose はじめから, name the hero and enter the first castle area. Use A for commands and B to examine ahead, START for status. Explore a little, then return outside for recovery and saving before going deeper.

Explore a Japanese castle maze alone in first person, facing creatures through turn-based commands. Search rooms and treasure while tracking nearby corridors, because the displayed map does not reveal the whole floor at once. Techniques offer healing, escape and other answers to danger, but their reserves do not last forever. Returning outside restores the hero and permits storage and saving, making a planned retreat part of progress rather than a failure to keep advancing.
