How to Play Baseball Kids
Quick start
Choose one player, select USA or Japan mode and confirm with START. For a first match choose a non-official game with fewer innings, select East or West and a pitcher, then practise A-button swings and throws.
Controls
Batting: A swings; hold before the pitch and release over the plate to bunt. Pitching: D-pad chooses location, A confirms; direction+A selects the pitch. Fielding: D-pad moves, A+direction throws, B jumps or B+direction dives. SELECT before a pitch adjusts swing direction.

Pick the East or West team for a compact Game Boy baseball match. An official game lasts nine innings and winning leads to stronger opponents, while a non-official game lets you choose a shorter length. Pitch placement and type, timed batting and directional throws decide each inning. Team and pitcher ratings help you choose a lineup suited to the way you want to play.
