How to Play Batman: The Animated Series
Quick start
Press START to begin; SELECT at the title opens configuration. Practise jumping and punching, then use Up+A under a suitable ledge to fire Batman’s grapple. Press A again to pull upward and Up to climb onto the platform when possible.
Controls
Left/right: move. A: jump; Up+A fires Batman’s grapple, A retracts it. B: punch or selected projectile. SELECT: switch fists/projectiles. Down: crouch or release an overhead grip. START: pause.

Batman and Robin face Gotham’s villains through five episodes inspired by the animated series. Batman’s grappling gun opens vertical routes, while Robin can hang from overhead surfaces. Both heroes combine close combat with limited projectile weapons. Wall jumps and climbing are part of the route through each episode, so reaching an enemy safely often requires using the scenery first. Press START to begin; SELECT at the title opens configuration. Practise jumping and punching, then use Up+A under a suitable ledge to fire Batman’s grapple. Press A again to pull upward and Up to climb onto the platform when possible.
