How to Play Castelian
Quick start
Press START and walk around the first tower to inspect its ledges. Stop before pressing A to test a shot; move while pressing A to jump. Use Up at a doorway or elevator and step off a lift promptly at the destination.
Controls
Left/right: walk around tower. Up: doors or elevator ascent. Down: elevator descent. A: shoot while standing, jump while moving. B: unused. START: pause. SELECT before play changes audio options.
Castelian — About this game
This is a pre-release edition. Julius must climb eight cylindrical towers and place a demolition bomb at each summit. Walking rotates the visible tower surface, revealing ledges, doorways and elevators on its far side. The action button fires a Carbonobomb while standing but becomes a jump while moving. Crumbling paths, returning lifts and patrolling enemies make the order and timing of the ascent as important as reaching the highest platform. Press START and walk around the first tower to inspect its ledges. Stop before pressing A to test a shot; move while pressing A to jump. Use Up at a doorway or elevator and step off a lift promptly at the destination.
