How to Play Championship Pool
Quick start
Press START to begin. Use Freestyle to learn aiming without a tournament at stake. Activate the phantom ball with A, adjust the aim and power, then press A again to strike and watch the cue ball’s final position.
Controls
D-pad: aim upward or downward; A: activate phantom ball, then press again to shoot; B: show power meter; hold with pad for fine aim; SELECT: cycle table views; SELECT+B: set cue-ball spin; START: open or confirm a menu.

Championship Pool combines 8-ball and 9-ball competition with practice and freely arranged shots. A phantom ball helps line up the contact, while power and spin determine what happens after the cue ball leaves the tip. Switch table views to inspect an angle, then build a useful next position instead of thinking only about the current pocket.
