How to Play Daffy Duck
Quick start
Press START and try A’s jet-assisted jump before crossing gaps. Shoot the first ringing clocks with B to open the route. At a boss, aim to land on its head instead of continuing ineffective ray-gun fire.
Controls
Left/right: move. Down: duck. A: jet jump; tap for controlled bursts. B: shoot. A+B: jump and shoot. START: pause; while paused, press a direction twice to buy its weapon, B to buy health, or hold START and press SELECT for the original gun. SELECT at title: password.
Daffy Duck — About this game
Daffy becomes Duck Dodgers to stop Marvin the Martian from destroying Earth. A jet pack and ray gun carry him through four stages, including moving-platform flights. Ringing clocks open passages when shot, so some routes require finding switches rather than simply defeating enemies. Ordinary foes can be shot or landed on, but stage bosses need jumping attacks instead of relying on the ray gun. Press START and try A’s jet-assisted jump before crossing gaps. Shoot the first ringing clocks with B to open the route. At a boss, aim to land on its head instead of continuing ineffective ray-gun fire.
