How to Play Dead Heat Scramble
Quick start
Select one player and press START. Choose a vehicle, then hold A to accelerate. Use the first course to learn the side-to-side travel and B jump; shoot an acquired weapon with Up when a clear target lies ahead.

Race against the clock through tube-shaped courses in a dune buggy, sand rail or off-road truck. The vehicle can climb the curved sides to find space around rivals and roadblocks. Acceleration, jumping and collected weapons give different ways through traffic, while nitro-related items help maintain pace. Ten courses unlock in sequence, so reaching the finish in time is the central test. Select one player and press START. Choose a vehicle, then hold A to accelerate. Use the first course to learn the side-to-side travel and B jump; shoot an acquired weapon with Up when a clear target lies ahead.
