How to Play Fortified Zone
Quick start
Choose 1P, then NEW GAME. Shoot the first containers with B and inspect SELECT’s map. On that screen choose CHANGE with left/right and A, then EXIT, to try the other soldier before an obstacle requires her jump.
Controls
D-pad: move. B: normal weapon. A: man’s special weapon or woman’s jump. SELECT: status/map; use CHANGE then A to switch in one-player mode. START: begin each stage.
Fortified Zone — About this game
Two infiltrators cross a field, jungle and underground caves before reaching the enemy fortress. Rooms form a maze of traps, locked doors and concealed supplies, with bosses barring each stage’s end. Switching soldiers changes your options: the woman can jump over obstacles, while the man can collect and fire special weapons. Each has a separate health supply, so choosing the right partner matters as much as firing at enemies and opening crates. Choose 1P, then NEW GAME. Shoot the first containers with B and inspect SELECT’s map. On that screen choose CHANGE with left/right and A, then EXIT, to try the other soldier before an obstacle requires her jump.
