Game Boy Wars makes factories, roads and the space around a unit part of the same plan. Build forces with income from captured facilities, move on the staggered battlefield and choose a target the unit can actually hurt. Infantry can turn a quiet flank into a threat to the enemy headquarters, while an expensive vehicle still needs support. Win by taking the capital or clearing the opposing force, rather than measuring progress only by damage dealt.

Select an opening map and inspect the factories and neutral towns before producing units. Move the cursor with the D-pad, choose commands with A and cancel with B. Send infantry toward income while keeping combat units close enough to protect it. End the turn only after checking which units have not yet acted.
