D-pad moves; A jumps, again A hovers, A while hovering drops; hold A for higher jump. Touch a wall in air to cling; ↓ drops from it. B fires magic/cancels; A talks/confirms; START opens magic/command window. SELECT uses learned spirit separation.

A young red gargoyle leaves his training behind when a dark power threatens the demon realm. Explore settlements for information and enter side-scrolling stages where jumping, hovering and clinging to walls create routes through dangerous terrain. The wing gauge limits time in the air and refills on landing, so a safe perch can be as valuable as an attack. Choose a magical shot suited to the obstacle and work toward the source of the darkness. Talk to nearby characters with A and enter the next action area. Tap or hold A for a low or high jump, press A again to hover and watch the wing meter. Land safely to refill before attempting the next crossing.
