How to Play Gegege no Kitarou - Youkai Souzoushu Arawaru!
Quick start
Press START at the title and select the new-game option with the D-pad and A. Follow the opening conversation, investigate the town and talk with residents. On the map press START to review allies; use the record command to save, confirming the overwrite only when intended.
Controls
D-pad moves on the map and selects menu entries. A confirms, talks, examines objects and advances text; B cancels. START opens system commands on the map, including allies, items, encyclopedia, record/save and settings. In ally ordering, move the chosen yokai and confirm with A.

Investigate strange incidents as Kitaro, speaking with people and yokai instead of treating every encounter as another fight. Recruit yokai allies, choose their battle order and use their different techniques in one-on-one clashes. Four scenarios lead to new discoveries, and the encyclopedia records the creatures you meet along the way. Press START at the title and select the new-game option with the D-pad and A.
