How to Play Getaway, The
Quick start
Hold Up or Down at the plunger to build launch strength, then release. Left works the left flipper and A the right pair. Track the ball’s return, try a gentle nudge with B or Right only when needed, and use Up/Down for gear changes when prompted.

←: left flipper. A: right flippers. → or B: nudge. Hold ↑/↓ then release at launcher: plunger; elsewhere ↑/↓ changes gear when called for. START: pause/resume.

Keep a pinball alive through ramps, orbits, bumpers and the tunnel of a police-chase table. Build features toward gear changes, the Supercharger and multiball, then switch to a driving video mode that asks you to weave through three lanes of traffic. The scrolling view makes anticipating the ball’s return important: prepare the flippers early and nudge sparingly to avoid a tilt. Hold Up or Down at the plunger to build launch strength, then release. Left works the left flipper and A the right pair. Track the ball’s return, try a gentle nudge with B or Right only when needed, and use Up/Down for gear changes when prompted.
