How to Play Golf
Quick start
Choose 1 PLAYER and a course with START. Use B to inspect the hole, then choose a club with Up/Down and aim left/right. Press A to bring up the swing indicator, then time the backswing, power and impact presses; putting needs fewer presses.
Controls
Up/down: select club on play screen. Left/right: aim. A: open swing indicator, start backswing, set power and impact; putting uses its shorter sequence. B: cycle play/hole/green views. START: confirm menus or show score. SELECT: save screen during play.
Golf — About this game
Plan each hole with a choice of club, aim and carefully timed swing. The course view shows the route, while a separate green view helps judge the final approach and putt. Ordinary shots use a power-and-impact meter, so distance alone is not enough: the last press must also produce a clean hit. Putting follows a simpler timing sequence. Compare terrain and wind before committing, then try to complete the course in as few strokes as possible. Choose 1 PLAYER and a course with START.
