How to Play The Hunt for Red October
Quick start
Use the radar to locate the first threats and fire torpedoes with A. Tap Left or Right to face the required direction, then move clear of walls. Save B missiles for targets that need them, collect the wrench for repair and use SELECT stealth during a dangerous crossing.

D-pad: four-way movement; tap ←/→ to turn facing. A: torpedo. B: limited missile. SELECT: temporary Caterpillar Drive. START: pause.

Pilot Red October through underwater passages with torpedoes, limited missiles and a temporary stealth drive. The radar reveals ships, aircraft, submarines and flashing pickups, helping you choose a route beyond the immediate view. Vertical movement has drag, and supplies can be destroyed by gunfire, so lure enemies away before collecting repairs or ammunition and leave room to turn the submarine. Use the radar to locate the first threats and fire torpedoes with A. Tap Left or Right to face the required direction, then move clear of walls. Save B missiles for targets that need them, collect the wrench for repair and use SELECT stealth during a dangerous crossing.
