How to Play Ikari no Yousai 2
Quick start
Choose 1P GAME and NEW GAME. Move cautiously and use B to fire; SELECT changes weapons. Press START for the map/sub-screen, then SELECT there to change agents. Choose Mizuki when the next route calls for a jump.
Controls
D-pad moves in eight directions; B fires the weapon in a direction. A jumps only as Mizuki; Masato does not use A, and weapons cannot fire during a jump. SELECT on field changes weapons, in sub-screen changes character in 1P. START opens/closes sub-screen.
Ikari no Yousai 2 — About this game
Masato and Mizuki return to an enemy base to destroy a new ultimate weapon. Explore rooms and floors from above, use keys to open routes and choose a machine gun, spread shot or grenade for the obstacle ahead. In single-player you can switch agents through the sub-screen; Mizuki’s jump crosses hazards that require different planning from Masato’s ground movement. Grenades also open certain walls and floors, making exploration as important as shooting. Choose 1P GAME and NEW GAME. Move cautiously and use B to fire; SELECT changes weapons. Press START for the map/sub-screen, then SELECT there to change agents. Choose Mizuki when the next route calls for a jump.
