How to Play Janshirou
Quick start
Choose 1P and confirm with START, then select opponents and rules with the D-Pad and A. On your turn choose a tile and A-discard. Use A for CHECK prompts, selecting a call only if it helps a valid hand. START changes the sub-screen to inspect the other discards.
Controls
Directional pad: move the cursor. A: confirm, discard or acknowledge CHECK prompt. B: cancel or go back. START: start/confirm; switch sub-screen in play.
Janshirou — About this game
Build Japanese mahjong hands against three computer opponents, balancing a useful draw with the risk of your next discard. Free matches let you choose opponents and rules, while Academy mode gives a sequence of rivals to overcome. The compact table shows only part of the other players’ discards at once, so switching the sub-screen matters as much as watching your own tiles. Check every opponent before pushing a dangerous hand, and record the Academy passwords when you advance. A separate calculation mode lets you examine scoring.
