John Madden Football — About this game
John Madden Football brings American football to a compact Game Boy field, with possession, downs and the route toward the opposing end zone shaping each play. On offense, look for room before committing the ball carrier to a crowded lane; on defense, close the route rather than simply chasing from behind. A short gain can still help the next attempt, so read the field position and remaining downs together. These preserved development versions offer a glimpse of the handheld adaptation's football core.
