How to Play Judge Dredd
Quick start
Read the mission briefing before entering the area. A jumps and B attacks according to distance. When a suspect raises both hands, approach to arrest rather than firing again. Pause with START and press A to cycle ammunition, then resume.
Controls
Left/right: walk; hold or double-tap to run. Down: crouch; down-left/right crawls. Up: ladder or flashing exit. A: jump. B: punch/kick nearby, fire at range. START: pause; A while paused cycles ammunition. Touch a surrendered unarmed enemy to arrest.

Judge Dredd follows mission orders through Mega-City One, using the Lawgiver and close combat against lawbreakers. The correct response is not always lethal: disarmed enemies who raise their hands can be arrested by walking into them, sometimes earning more points. Ammunition types change the gun’s behavior, from ordinary shells to ricochets and stronger projectiles. Read each briefing, search the area and use jumps, ladders and crawling routes to complete the assignment. Read the mission briefing before entering the area.
