Quick start
Begin, practise A jumps and B attacks, then open SELECT to compare serious and gag forms. Use serious Down+A for a slide and gag held A for a glide when the route calls for it. D-Pad: move/cursor. A: jump/confirm; hold for gag-mode glide. B: attack, hold for boomerang; in air, kick. Down+A: serious-mode sliding kick. Up+B: avoid droppings. SELECT: selection screen. START: begin; B returns to play.

Switch between top-view exploration and side-view action as Tar-chan follows news of a powerful slimming medicine into trouble. Serious and gag personalities change his abilities: serious mode favours strength and a sliding kick, while gag mode gives speed and a gliding move. A jumps and B attacks, with a held B bringing a boomerang attack; use SELECT to reach the selection screen when a different approach is needed. Choose the form for the obstacle rather than treating every encounter the same.
