How to Play Kattobi Road
Quick start
Try Trial Race’s Spot mode with a built-in car. A accelerates, B brakes, left/right steer and Up/Down shift gears. For a 0-400 race, hold A and upshift as the gauge tip turns black. Keep the car straight and compare its time before changing vehicles.
Controls
Left/Right: move. Up/Down: shift up/down gears. A: accelerate; menu confirm. B: decelerate/stop; menu cancel. START: pause.

Choose a ready-made car or truck and compare its performance in winding trial courses and straight-line acceleration races. Trial’s Spot mode lets you practise one track, while Full takes the courses in sequence. The 400-metre and one-kilometre races turn the focus toward shifting at the right moment against a computer rival. Watch the speed gauge, move up through the gears as the engine reaches its useful range and brake before tight turns. Barcode Boy adds vehicle possibilities, but the built-in cars let the basic races stand on their own.
