How to Play King of Fighters '95, The
Quick start
Choose a team and its order, then test B punches and A kicks, tapping for light attacks and holding for strong ones. Back guards, Up jumps and neutral A+B dodges. Hold Down+A+B only when you have space to charge; use forward+A+B for a knockback strike.
Controls
Directional pad: move; up jump, down crouch, back guard. A: kick; tap light, hold strong. B: punch; tap light, hold strong. A + B: neutral or back: dodge. Down + A + B: hold to charge power gauge. Forward + A + B: forward plus both: powerful knockback strike.

Assemble a team of three fighters, choose their order and face rival teams one member at a time in this compact fighting tournament. A winner recovers some strength before the next opponent, so keeping a useful first fighter alive changes the rest of a match. Light taps and longer button holds give different normal attacks, while guarding, dodging and charging power create openings for special moves. Start with a familiar fighter such as Kyo, learn the range of a punch and kick, and avoid spending every moment trying to fill the power gauge.
