How to Play Kinnikuman - The Dream Match
Quick start
Press START, choose 1P and select a wrestler with the pad, confirming with START twice. Begin with punches and kicks, learn how contact becomes a grapple and save a full special gauge for the final blow when enemy health reaches zero.
Controls
D-pad moves; repeated directions help escape specials or get up. A punches, B kicks; A+B drops a knee/elbow on a downed foe. While grappling, Down then B throws, or Down then START uses a full special gauge. Retreat while holding A to guard. SELECT pauses.
Kinnikuman - The Dream Match — About this game
Choose one of six Justice Chojin and defeat the other five wrestlers to claim the Dream Champion belt. Punches, kicks and grapples wear down health, but emptying the rival’s bar is not enough: victory requires a successful special move while the opponent has no health. Build your special gauge, create an opening for a grapple and watch for recovery. Two linked Game Boys also allow head-to-head bouts, including mirror matches and selectable arenas. Press START, choose 1P and select a wrestler with the pad, confirming with START twice. Begin with punches and kicks, learn how contact becomes a grapple and save a full special gauge for the final blow when enemy health reaches zero.
