Kiteretsu Daihyakka keeps the action to four clear choices: move, jump, strike with the sword or crouch. Crouching protects against enemy attacks, making a patient pause a useful response when a jump will not safely clear the threat. Each stage shows its completion condition, which may ask for a distance or a number of enemies rather than simply reaching the right edge. Watch that condition, choose when to fight and use the pause in the action to prepare the next crossing.

Start the first stage and read the completion condition at the lower right. Practise A jumps and B sword attacks, then use down to crouch when an enemy attack is hard to evade. Advance patiently toward the stated distance or defeat target rather than attacking everything at once.
