How to Play Laser Squad Alter
Quick start
Press START, choose one of the two levels and inspect the starting squad. Use SELECT to reach another character, move into position, check information with B and fire with A. Return to the save command with START during the mission.
Controls
D-pad moves. SELECT gives quick access to characters. A fires; B displays information. START starts the game from the opening and saves during play. These are the native Game Boy buttons given by the creator.

Command a squad in a Game Boy reinterpretation of Laser Squad, choosing between two battlefields with the same objective: eliminate twelve enemy forces. Switch quickly between characters, move them into useful positions and inspect information before firing. The routes and characters draw on the older computer game, but Alter rebuilds the mission around its own compact handheld design. Keep track of which squad member is active and use the save command as you plan the next approach. Press START, choose one of the two levels and inspect the starting squad. Use SELECT to reach another character, move into position, check information with B and fire with A. Return to the save command with START during the mission.
