Play Lemmings (Beta / 1993-05-19 · Europe edition · English) Online

Lemmings gives you a marching crowd rather than a hero you can steer directly. Assign limited skills to individual walkers so they climb, build bridges or cut a safe route through the terrain before the rest arrive. Each map demands that enough of the group reach the exit, so a successful path must protect the followers as well as the first worker. Pause to inspect the landscape, then spend each task where it will change the route instead of wasting it on empty ground.

Pause at the start of a map and locate the exit and first lethal drop. Hold B and use left/right to select a task, then release it before assigning the worker. Build or dig early enough that the next walkers inherit a safe path.
