Maerchen Club turns an eight-by-eight board into a contest between fantasy armies. Spend Power Points to create pieces with different movement patterns, protect your king and challenge an enemy piece to a card-driven duel. The same points also support recovery, so filling every space with an expensive unit can leave no reserve for a damaged defender. Reading attack ranges helps choose a favorable clash, but the cards can still upset a plan that looked secure on the board.
