D-pad moves Taruruuto and selects map choices; A jumps or confirms; B uses the tongue attack in action stages. Read the map command before choosing a row or column to shift.

Raibaa has stolen Taruruuto's Sword Pen and broken the town into a sliding map. Restoring a route is part of the adventure: spend ten takoyaki to shift a row or column, connect the streets and reach the next character or action stage. Inside the stages, jump past hazards and use the tongue attack while collecting the food needed for more magic. You do not have to repair every part of the town at once. Look for a useful destination, earn enough takoyaki and move only the pieces that bring that destination within reach.
