How to Play Matthias Sammer Soccer
Quick start
Choose a training match. Practise one short pass and one shot, then let possession change so you can learn which defender becomes yours before starting a competition. D-Pad: move the controlled player/select menus. A/B: pass or shoot according to the current possession and on-screen control prompt. A confirms selections; B returns in menus. Recheck the selected defender after losing the ball.

Matthias Sammer Soccer — About this game
Control the player with the ball, then switch attention to the nearest defender when possession changes. The scrolling view shows only part of the pitch, so positioning matters as much as the next kick: pass into space, move up with support and look for a clear shooting angle. A training match gives room to learn the pace before taking on a longer competition. Read the movement of the opposing team and avoid pulling every defender towards the same ball.
