How to Play Medarot - Kabuto Version
Quick start
Press START, begin a new game and follow Hikaru’s opening events. Use B to inspect the menu and assemble a complete Medarot with a medal. Before a Robottle, select the leader and any teammates, then START to begin. Choose a part action with the D-pad and A; target choice is handled by the robot’s AI.
Controls
D-pad moves and selects. A confirms, talks, examines and opens detailed medal/part information. B opens the field menu or cancels. START begins a Robottle or checks battle status. SELECT changes part pages, sorts lists and displays shop performance data; during battle it surrenders. Build equipment before an encounter, since medals and parts cannot be changed after it begins.

Hikaru begins collecting Medarots in an adventure built around medals, interchangeable parts and Robottle contests. The Kabuto edition starts with the shooting-focused Metal Beetle. Assemble head, arms and legs around a Tinpet and medal, then choose each robot’s part action as it runs to the attack line. Up to three robots form a team, but destroying the leader’s head ends the match; winning earns an opponent’s part. Press START, begin a new game and follow Hikaru’s opening events. Use B to inspect the menu and assemble a complete Medarot with a medal. Before a Robottle, select the leader and any teammates, then START to begin. Choose a part action with the D-pad and A; target choice is handled by the robot’s AI.
