How to Play Mercenary Force
Quick start
Press START and recruit your group. Practise A firing, B formations and SELECT leader changes while keeping each member clear of enemy shots.

Directional pad: move. A: fire with the group. B: cycle battle formation. SELECT: change the leader. START: pause.

Different members bring distinct attacks and individual life totals, so formation and leader choice affect both firepower and exposure. Fire, rearrange the group or change the lead as enemy patterns shift. Losing a member weakens the squad, making careful positioning more useful than treating the whole formation as one disposable ship.
