How to Play Mini-Putt
Quick start
Choose Training and a hole. Use SELECT to inspect its layout, aim with the D-pad and confirm with A. Press A to start and stop the power gauge, then stop the effect gauge near the centre for a straight shot. Begin with less power than the full distance suggests, since the ball keeps rolling.
Controls
D-pad moves menu cursors and the aiming marker. A confirms, starts/stops the power gauge and fixes hook or slice; B cancels a selection. SELECT displays the hole map. START is unused. Aim, power and effect are separate steps.

Read the slopes and guide a golf ball through compact obstacle courses with as few strokes as possible. Aim first, then stop separate power and hook-or-slice gauges to shape the shot. Practice lets you learn awkward holes before a full round, while Normal play counts strokes and Gamble turns multiplayer holes into a contest over points and bets. Choose Training and a hole.
