Quick start
Choose a campaign with registered characters, or Campaign Continue for an existing password. A new registration uses the Barcode Boy reader. Pick the party, inspect the full map, place units and confirm the arrangement with B. Begin with ranged units behind tougher front-line members.
Controls
D-pad selects characters, cursor and destination. A confirms a unit, move, facing or attack target; START displays status. B opens the command window or cancels; use it to end a turn early. In Campaign Continue, move the cursor with the pad, change characters with A/B and confirm the password with START.

Turn barcode-registered Monster Maker characters into a tactical party for a campaign against the dark army. Choose up to six members, inspect the map and deploy fighters, knights, dragon riders, mages and archers according to their strengths. Hills improve combat while rivers weaken it, and approaching from the side or rear can beat a strong frontal defense. Defeat each enemy boss to advance, grow the survivors and keep revival stones and stage passwords ready for the next battle.
