Mortal Kombat & Mortal Kombat II — About this game
Choose between the original Mortal Kombat tournament and its Outworld sequel on one cartridge. Both use punches, kicks, crouches and jumping attacks, but their rosters and special techniques provide different matchups. The first game leads toward Goro and Shang Tsung; the second continues the conflict under Shao Kahn. The collection preserves an important control difference: the original blocks with both attack buttons, while Mortal Kombat II uses START for defense. Highlight the game on the collection title with the D-pad and press START. Choose a fighter and practise A kicks and B punches. In the original use A+B to block; in II use START. II’s Options lets you choose difficulty and available credits before fighting.
