How to Play Mysterium
Quick start
Read the introduction, inspect the inventory and examine clues before using a transformation pool. Track what each material becomes and ready equipment before fighting.
Controls
Up/down: step forward/back. Left/right: turn; in Aim mode, adjust aim instead. A: fire readied weapon or confirm inventory action. B: Aim on/off. SELECT: switch exploration/inventory. START: pause. Use inventory GET, DROP, LOOK and USE to handle materials and equipment.

This is a pre-release edition. An apprentice alchemist enters a first-person maze and must turn found materials into the tools needed to escape. Fire, water, acid and mercury transform objects in consistent ways, so reading clues and remembering recipes matters as much as mapping corridors. Keys, weapons and protective items must be readied to work. Monsters interrupt the investigation, and an aiming mode lets you direct weapon fire along a hall without changing the route you are exploring.
