Quick start
Open the menu and try the training questions before a full match. Move to a discard with Left/Right and confirm with A, then read the explanation. For CPU play choose an opponent and set the rules before selecting game start.
Controls
D-pad selects menu entries, opponents and tiles; A confirms or discards the highlighted tile. B opens the action window for riichi and other calls. In training use Left/Right and A to answer; SELECT leaves a question mode or cancels a link waiting state. For multi-wait questions select every answer, then OK.

Practice Japanese mahjong with seven computer opponents, a professional tournament and two sets of scored questions. The hundred-problem training mode explains both correct and incorrect choices, while the thirty-question rank test asks about discards, waits and points. Adjust rules such as open tanyao, ippatsu and kan-ura dora before a match, then learn to balance hand shape with the situation. Two linked Game Boys also provide a direct human contest alongside the solo lessons. Open the menu and try the training questions before a full match.
