How to Play NBA All-Star Challenge
Quick start
Choose a player and practise one-on-one. Move toward the basket, press A to jump and A again to shoot; try different release heights for distance. Near the rim use A then B for a dunk. On defense press B to steal without abandoning position.
Controls
D-pad: move; hold B while moving to keep facing direction. Offense A jump, A again shoot; A then B near basket dunk. Defense A block, B steal. Free throws: pad aim, A shoot. Menus START advances.

Pick from 27 NBA players for individual basketball challenges rather than a full five-man team match. Play one-on-one, practise free throws, imitate shots in HORSE or chase points in Accuracy Shoot-Out; the solo All-Star Tournament links the events. Jump-shot release height affects range, while close approaches allow dunks. Blocking, steals and clearing the rebound make a duel depend on defense as well as shooting.
