Enter weapon-based duels where sword range can decide an exchange before either fighter moves close. Combine kicks with slashes and heavier attacks, then guard or retreat when the opponent's reach is greater. Taking damage builds the rage gauge, while sword clashes create a different contest of repeated inputs. A dropped sword changes your attack to a punch, making weapon control part of the fight rather than a cosmetic detail.
