How to Play NFL Football
Quick start
Choose a formation with the pad and A. After taking the snap with A, watch the marked receivers before using A or B to pass; on defense, change the controlled player before the opponent snaps.

D-pad: move; A: select play/snap/pass to A receiver; before defensive snap change player; B: pass to B receiver; before defensive snap change player; START: pause.

NFL Football makes the arrow-marked player the centre of every play. Set an offensive or defensive formation, snap the ball and choose whether to run behind the blockers or pass to a marked receiver. A completed pass shifts control to the catcher, while possession changes turn the same open field into a chase; punts and field goals also depend on field position.
